Home free es un grupo de cinco cantantes que se dedican a cantar a capella, sobre esto ellos crean nuevas versiones de canciones ya conocidas como Wake me up de Avicci o Ring of fire de Johnny Cash. En este caso yo os voy a mostrar una versión country de All about that bass de Meghan Trainor.

La estructura de esta canción es la siguiente: estribillo, estrofa,estribillo,estrofa, estribillo.

La tonalidad utilizada en esta versión es La mayor y los acordes en los que más se basa la canción son la tónica (la,do#,mi) y la dominante (mi,sol#,si). Claramente el único instrumento utilizado es la voz de cada uno de los componentes, hay tres tenores (jugando a hacer distintas voces), un bajo y luego la base rítmica es hecha también por otro componente mediante sonidos con la boca,garganta,voz...

Hay un dato curioso en su versión llevan un mismo ritmo en toda la canción hasta llegar al último estribillo que hacen un acelerón que le da un punto gracioso acompañado por supuesto de las imágenes del videoclip.

Hace unos meses una amiga me enseñó este grupo porque le gustaba mucho y a partir de ahí yo también le cogí mucho gusto, por su simpatía cantando, por lo bien que suenan y porque me alucinan mucho los grupos sólo vocales que parece que tienen instrumentos. Esta canción me gusta mucho por el mnsaje que da, que me siento muy identificada y ya la original me gusta mucho y esta versión más.
